Hundreds of supporters, along with local mayor Frank Scarpitti, gathered in Markham, Ontario to celebrate the official unveiling of Andre De Grasse Street. Named after , better known for being neck-and-neck with Usain Bolt in the 2016 Rio Summer Olympics where he became the only Canadian to win medals in all three sprint events at a single Games. 

Since Andre’s rise to fame, it has been his mission to use his recent success as a platform to inspire youth to reach their own unique potential. Dedicated to that mission, Andre announced his launch of the Andre De Grasse Family Foundation (ADGFF), a charity committed to empowering the next generation of youth through sport and education with the goal of providing more opportunities for athletes and creating a healthier, more productive community.

Andre De Grasse and his new foundation have partnered with ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï to have a means of accepting donations using Givepoint. Using the Givepoint Kiosk, organizers were collecting donations from the public on behalf of the ADGFF while celebrating Andre’s success and dedication to his Markham community. Supporters were able to donate to the foundation with their debit and credit cards in less than 10 seconds. When not in use, the ADGFF branded kiosk also showcased the foundation’s official video. The Andre De Grasse Family Foundation will be using ºÚÁϳԹÏ’s Platform, both in-person and online, for its future fundraising activities.
